i don't see it as the same thing; those guys job is to agitate;
the entertainers (for the most part) just trying to live...whichever ones mix up inna badman bizniz are not innocent, but the majority are not involved in any shdy dealings

to put it simple music and politics is two totally different things;
even if they will sometimes get drawn into the argument- (i won't pretend that some were/are not involved in politics or general badman-isms)
they claimed josie wales &amp; admiral baily tief ballot box (which they denied)...they shot &amp; killed general echo during election...major worries, etc.

but most entertainers i know completely shun politics...some of the less successful ones do get involved in some badness, but the generalization of entertainers as badman not really fair

You are spreading false rum-ours to cover your everlasting disdain for Politicians. Echo, Big, John and Fluxy were murdered by the Police acting in a political role because they were known JLP supporter not because they had criminal associations.

You regularly accused all politicians as being criminals so why would it be different when musicians are found to be cozy with armed so-called wanted Persons?

Following his release from detention on Wednesday night, popular reggae artiste Luciano, <span style="font-weight: bold">will on Friday morning give a voluntary statement to the Half Way Tree Police in St. Andrew in the presence of his attorney.</span>

The artiste, whose given name is Jepther McClymont, was detained Wednesday following an early morning police operation at his Westminster Crescent studio during which an alleged wanted man was shot dead and three policemen injured.

On Thursday morning, Mr. McClymont's attorney Delano Franklyn, told RJR News his client agreed to give the statement <span style="font-weight: bold">following which the police will decide the next step.</span>

<span style="font-weight: bold">The interview was scheduled for this morning but has been postponed for Friday morning.</span>

Mr. Franklyn says <span style="font-weight: bold">his client has been cooperating fully with the police.</span>

According to the police they had gone to Luciano's studio in search of Andrew Senior, who was wanted by them.

They say shots were fired at them and they fired back.

At the end of the shooting, Mr. Senior lay dead and the three policemen nursed gunshot wounds.

A firearm was allegedly seized.

The policemen, two of whom had to undergo surgery, are recuperating in hospital.

<span style="font-weight: bold">The dead man was reportedly a part of the entertainer's security detail</span>.

I think when he handed in his resume he did not include the fact that he may be wanted, although in his defence his name did not appear on any <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Police Wanted List</span>.
