Re: Jcans told not to fear huge police deployment across isl
The Jamaican police officers all get health care.
The country cannot afford to pay the police more.
The GDP is only US5000+.
Even if the collected 100% of it as taxes, it still would not be enough to pay the amount of men they need a proper wage.
So we have to go back to the days when the US cities and towns that couldn't afford adequate police did.
They require every home to have firearms.
That work then, it is even being reintroduced quietly in many tows now. I know my neighboring town only have police officers at night .
one of them is supervisor. And they have major highway running through the town.
It is not the number of police it is the people ability to be the first line of defence against criminals.
You can't expect the police to be the front line of defence.
What is so difficult about that?
Are Jamaicans so primitive, that they are going to kill off each other? it is downright dumb to think that they will do it bit you won't do it. It is prejudice thinking. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: queen b</div><div class="ubbcode-body">If the gov't would pay the police more, give them health care and pension and adequate training, the police would have have <span style="font-weight: bold"> pride</span> in their jobs and become more business-like and trustworthy.
