Ok if THAT is the case, I can understand that,,,,but mussi some BIG plans if it is going to replace a multi-million dollar industry....although I am the first to admit the money by in large does NOT get filtered in the right directions. (sorry about the smaller font) </div></div>

why would I not be serious???? you have different levels of effecting an economy. You must remember it is not only on a marco millon dollar level that u cna effect an economy. Some may view your question on a micro level and have ideas based on that level. How is that any less valid than that some billionaire investing in JA?

Tourism have a part to play in Jamaica's economy,but for far too long the Jamaican government have been bending over backwards to accommodate the tourism industry, while at the same time ignoring alternate avenues of earning foreign exchange.

For the most part the tourist dollar does not benefit the Jamaican masses ,still successive governments find it necessary to let the main players in the industry do as they please. Jamaica's high crime rate plays right in to the hands of the all inclusive resorts , The small stand alone players dont stand a chance in a high crime environment.I see a whole lot of talk about agro processing,the large amount of Jamaicans living abroad combine with the increasing popularity of Jamaica(thanks to BOLT AND THE OTHER ATHLETES)Agro processing could become a lucrative industry for THE ROCK.
