The dollars supplement what is already in place. Yes, these cities would take a hit if they saw a drop in visitors to their cities, but they wouldnt be crippled. I am afraid to say...Jamaica can not say the same. </div></div>

Well you have just proven that Jamaica on a whole get a Net Benefit from Tourism.

TG, I am a teacher by trade. I have discussions with "academia" all the time. I do not know everything and enjoy learning from ohters. When someone says "I dont follow your line of thinking" or "I do not understand" they are asking for you to share what you know in order to keep the discussion going...so that the learning continues, so that another point of view can be shared. That is what I am used to.

I dont understand how LOL's accomplishes this. I am simply trying to understand your line of thinking, so that I may learn another perspective.

I thought as much. I was sighing, as I didnt understand the need to make the comment in the first place. But this is a free country and you did start the post.

It isnt often that I enter these kinds of discussions with folk, as I am used to a certain kind of protocol when I have discussions. Because many folks are unfamiliar with this "protocol" (to be read: they are human)...I just find it easier to remain disengaged.

Not sure why this discussion created such a impulse that I couldnt be compelled.

I agree that Jamaica will be flat on its face if the tourism is taken away, in fact I suggested as much earlier.
therefore based on that established fact we are gaining a Net-Benefit from Tourism.
