Bill and Hillary will obviously cover the cost of the wedding intricacies such as cake, flowas, frack, horse and buggy ..but the security details assigned to a President (former and present) are on the tax payer’s tab

Wendy, the secret service has to protect him regardless. They don't get the day off just because he didn't go to a wedding and it is all on the taxpayer's dollar. How is this different from any other time that he or any other president left the confines of the White House to attend an event? Plus, they may as well double up forces with the Clinton's agents because former presidents and their families get protection for life on the taxpayer's dollar.

First from what I understand the president’s detail is HIS detail ..im cyan use Clinton detail. Dat dey protocol have to be followed by the “t”. Yuh know sey all Air Force1 havi change pilot when a new President come in? No crossing over and "coupling" of anybady when it come to di US President.

Next – Tulip .. look at how di media operate. A dat mi a defend. If he goes on official Presidential events – silence from the crowd. If he decides do something them deem noh have nutten do wid presidential work – all hell break loose.

Kia gave an example of his date night. Memba how they made big stink over that?

I was wrong about that. It changed in 97. It's only the children of former presidents up until they are 16 and both the former pres and spouse for up to 10 years.

You make good points, but what the man supposed to do just stay locked up? It's one of the perks of the job be it personal or country business, he is supposed to have protection. He deserves the sames rights and privileges that the rest of them had.
