Or maby I could explane to the rich that they would get richer if the try help the poor. U see the killing would stop if people didnt suffer. And the rich could walk the streets without worrying. n then when they help the poor the poor would start work n maby provide better healthcare for them r build their roads etc...

They would probably get richer but They wont be able to enjoy it anymore.

To them it is all about preserving the positions They hold in Jamaica for their progeny.

It is all about control.

It has always been about control.

And How many of them you see getting shot?
They are nit affected by the crime.

Anything they lose today They make up for it in the future..

you want sweden in the tropics not Jamaica...

There are those on here who want to make Jamaica Cuba, or Ethopia, or the united states.. none of these national amorphisation will ever work.. it is like simply chopping off an arm and replacing it with a dead persons arm...

From my experience of nordic countries including sweden the nations seem as bland as cured herring.. Jamaica sparkles like ackee on the tongue... like a life infused with champange.. And it is the same creativeness which is the flip side.. We are despite what the black nationalist beleive not a nations of conformist...We are a nation of creative individualists for the most part...

oh yeah we will envy the health service, the job oppertunities, the infrastructure that Sweden boasts... And we aspire to have such things but not to make Jamaica more like sweden., That is as big a disaster to as make Jamaica more like Cuba...

Jamaica is its own paradgim...

Interestingly enough if you compare Jamaica 100 years ago to Sweden 100 years ago some surprising results spring up..

I would suggest a reveiw of the photography of Albert Kahn as a starting point... Doc also made an interesting comment once about epo genetics, I thought he was on one of his flights of fancy.. till I read a paper on the study of the effect of famine in the nordic countries genetics....The fact that they had more common famines came as a shocj to a poor ignorant Jamaican such as myself

The fact that you are Swedish would give you a<span style="font-weight: bold"> huge</span> advantage in Jamaica. The PSOJ would welcome you with open arms and the majority of the local Jamaicans would see you as a possible savior .You might be surprise by this. but you would not be the first foreign born prime minister of Jamaica <span style="font-weight: bold">edward seaga</span> already hold that distinction.( LIKE YOU SEAGA ALSO SAID HE WAS GOING TO BRING DILIVERANCE TO THE PEOPLE)A word of caution, if you planning on joining the PSOJ do not let them know your true intentions that you really want to help the poor people dem,this might not go down too well the the PSOJ. Yeah, you don't want to have to bow down to the United States AGAIN.
Make Jamaica like Cuba? The Jamaicans do not have the will to make any moves toward socialism that would upset their colonial masters.

That's why they stick to voting for the same old same old that is offered by the twin parties of capitalism.

Why would Jamaicans want;
1) universal and excellent educational opportunities for free from pre-school to graduate school?
2) universal and excellent health care for free from pre-natal to dying day?
3) a safe, drug-free and crime-free environment in which to live and raise a family ?
3) an electoral system in which the electorate chooses their representatives and not the corrupt political parties?
4) The power and self-respect to tell the United Sates to bugger off?.
5) to have Jamaica place somewhere closer to Cuba's 51st place in the Human Development Index rather than the 100th place in which Jamaica finds itself. ?

Jamaica is not finding its own way. It is not improving life for the poor and working class. It is following the orders of the more powerful countries on Earth like the U.S.A.
and is continuing to change nothing; neither the economic system that does not work in a poor country like Jamaica nor the corrupt two-party electoral system that likewise does not serve the people well.

Jamaica is, like many many Third World and underdeveloped countries, stumbling along not allowed to quite collapse but also never allowed to change.
