Thee ancient greek gods undersood the dualituy of humans.. Thus they made the god of war the god of art.. Jamaicans are examples of this duality.. be aware that if you as you said you make Jamaica more like Sweden, then you will destroy the very essence of what is Jamaica....

For my part I beleive Jamaicans are by their very essence the Nichean superhuman.. We were winnowed by the middle passage, strengthen by genocide, our ancestors were sieved by slavery in order to make the survivours far more inteligent, physically superior.. We were assisted by the fact of our geographic postion made it the last stop on the middle passage thus a higher percentage of of the more resistant slaves were deposited.. Add to this the free imigrants that came were the top ten percent of the aspireres and inteligent of their repective country.. thus respectfully I am unable to see what value a swede, a yanki or a kanadian can add to the mix..

I beleive teh least of our polticians is far superior to best of the rest of the world polticians.. We had Gandhis before India, Napoleons before France, Bolivars before Venezuela, Gustavus Adolophuses before Sweden!

Why are u still trying to prove jamaica is the best country? If Jamaica indeed had those ppl, then why are they still living undeveloped?

no I am saying Jamaica is by its history and enviroment unique.. it is greatest resource its people are when compared with the rest of the world unique, highly creative, confident, opninated, individualistic pragmatics.. . It is both our blessing and a curse.. Malvado is a case in point while creative he is cool self centered egotist.. who uses his talent.. He is also highly destructive wounded personality with a superior opnion of his own ability. He could be an equal superior as a shotta as a entertainer. We are a nation of Malvado personalities:: the is the similarities in every single one of our polticians our leaders.. overt confidence in ones own ability.. I am saying that Jamaicans will not be led by some limp wristed liberal outsider.. I am saying we have no need to fixed or saved by an outsider..we have the resources and the ability to do it..

Every single idea that you could postulated has already been postulated and profered by a Jamaican..and there will be another to offer the contoray veiw.. thus making the call for unity a none sense.. Jamaicans tend to see our leaders as what they are much more than Europeans, yankees or any one else for that matter..

We thrive on conflict and confrontation and out of the conflict comes our creativity.. we need confrontation so much we creat artifical constraints to creat conflict...Thus there is something confrontational about every thing, this confrontation is the synthesis of our creativity (or creativity is the syntheis of our confronational society).. Jamaica needs another messiah or missionary as much as we need another Jah Cure at least he brings intelectual property to the table!

We have more than 50 years of singing every type of philoshy as our popular songs.. I mean this if a smarter man than me could identify the works of Nichea, Marx, Jung, Plato, Ciscero, in our popular songs....

Do you count us that incompent that we need an outsider to tell us what we need to do ?

Not ALL Jamaicans are killers,and jamaica is certainly not made of killers,I think you dwell just a little too much on that,there is far more to jamaica than people killing each other.

I been married to a Jamaican for 3 years, n we been living together 2,5 years so I kno how jamaican stay, not only him... Mi see seh many Jamaicans are self centered, not all. But how could individuals like Christopher Coke have so much power? How could Jamaica not be a fare country where the one that gets most votes by the people gets eected?
I dont want to be some kind of messiah, I want to help jamaicans help demself, I dont wanna tell dem what to do, But right now I see jamaica is stuck n it just get worse. Even from when I was there 2007, 2008 it was worse n 2010 it got mad all types of killing every day n it was war in dun kirk so I couldnt go there, ppl lost their jobs n u dont have welfare for them.
Ive talked to a guy in stelisabeth n he say they have socialworkers n so...
I been reading rapports weh jamaicans beg jamaicans to wake up. I dont want to change how jamaica stay, just wanna change the killing,raping,stealing etc... How do you think you do that?

I have been saying how I love Jamaica n I want to move there, but I dont want to live in an inviroment where I cant do what I want to do, where I have to live in a gated house n have to watch my back...

Well the upperclass ppl I been living with live in a gated surrounding, n they locked the door as soon as they come in, when I gone outside to the park they tell mi dat i must lock the door, when I was living with middelclass ppl we did go to the stoor n they where not so scared but i been living with &quot;poor ppl&quot; n they locked the grill outside of their house all time...When the police come we had to go inside n couldnt look out through the window, They told me I couldnt walk anywhere alone...
It was scary some evenings couse u heard gunshots firing, n every1 had to walk inside, n so many times the elictricity stopped work and the water stop run...

But the rich people they gone to fancy resturants but when mi aks dem fi leave mi in tivoli they wouldnt, they didnt go surten places, thats mad...

I can't speak of Europe but the above statement is true of many North American cities, it's not Kingston specific.
