only law enforcement criminalizes our youth based on quotas they get from their employers the gov't...
paid informers are usually in it for the money or for the reduction of prison time for their own crimes-- or both...

The Fed does not give parole. You always serve your full term. Best you can hope for as a model prisoner is to get sent to one of those min security facilities

Writing was on the wall - I expected a guilty verdict, though I held out hope that the three black women on the jury would see through the shallowness of the case - but this is in backward Tampa so I am not surprised. It did not at all help Buju's case that the Dudus matter and the vigourous defense of 'the President' by Eli Bangarang played itself out so prominently in the media only a few short months ago. For the jurors - dreadlocked jamaican on a drugs related charge equals that n-gger is guilty as sin. And I'm not beating up on Buju - I would say this even if he won the case but he set himself up. If you don't do drugs, nor deal in it you would be sprinting the other way if somebody come bring drugs talk to you. Just so me see it - the man was probably just testing the waters, but I feel real bad for the man still.

so i wonder if hes going to Leavenworth or Corcoran?
but more than Likely he end up in California Correctional Facility, thats where most non US Citizens on Federal charges do there time.

How sad this all is. I am sad it happened at all, and I feel conflicted now about the outcome. Though I feel no mercy for any hard drug dealers, the fact remains that there are other circumstances here that make this more than just open/shut because of the informant business. sigh...

He could end up in a very very cold place. We have a federal prison in Duluth! We call it camp walkaway, because it is a minimum security, in an old air force base. Many there were involved in drug dealings and other stupid mix up. When I used to drive taxi, I chauffeured the prisoners to the doctor and such. The best part was getting to take them to the airport or to the Greyhound bus station, depending on how much $$ they had on release date. The saddest part was bringing the wives/gf and families to visit on the weekend mornings, and picking them up for a ride back to the motel in the afternoon.
