they have a serious problem .the ones who are electable cannot win the nomination and the ones who can win the nomination cannot win the election.

The Book Of Mormon says that blacks and other people who are not white have that skin color to mark them as descendants of the fratricide Cain.

While the rules of the church were changed back in the 70's so that blacks and others could then become Elders in the church, those words, that thought was never taken out of the Book of Mormon.

Which begs the questions for the Mitthead: : Did you believe that crap until the church hierarchy was told by God to comply with U.S. national law ? Do you still believe it? Did you not believe it while it was in effect and were therefore in conflict with your churches teachings during those years?

Would any self-respecting black, native American, Chinese or dark-skinned Latino vote for someone who has lived so long thinking that they were a cursed people because of their skin color?

I prefer to deal with reality.

I would ask you to watch the Hitchens piece and as many of the other You Tube pieces with Hitchens debating Theism as you can bear and argue with his logic.

What is true is that people of faith disregard fact because what they believe is a fantasy and fact is destructive of that fantasy.
Studies have shown that not only do they run from and block out facts that contradict the fantasies they believe but they retreat ever deeper into that unreality as a result of what is called cognitive dissonance which is the extreme mental discomfort and panic one feels when what one believes runs into incontrovertible fact and reality.


As for witchcraft, why not volcano gods or some such or Zeus or Odin or Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny or Tinkerbell? . I just cannot believe you actually believe in witchcraft. This is not the Dark Ages.
(And as I have said several times before no one with Spellcheck need fear witchcraft.)


Look, as Hitchens puts it, 99% of the gods which man has created and worshipped through the millennia have fallen out of fashion, are no longer believed to be gods.
We are now down to one which, as Hitchens says and which I believe, brings us ever closer to the actual number.

If you do watch the Hitchens video I posted please take up his debating points and respond to them unless logic has no place in your thinking because of your belief in magic.
Do note that no one, no Theist in the world has yet responded to this challenge successfully and certainly no one in these fora..

An aside. My nine-year old niece recently told my wife that she does not believe in the God her grandmother ( grandmother's father is a minister) has been teaching her about.
She got over her belief in Santa Claus perhaps a year ago but God took a bit longer due to her long time indoctrination. My wife and I were stunned that she ( a very bright kid to begin with) had come to understand the difference between reality and fantasy/magic so early in her life.
She and my wife often watch movies together and my wife will have tears running down her face because of some sad scene in a film and my 9-year old niece has to tell her:
'It's only a movie. It's not real&quot;

Would that many adults would have her perception.
