One of the biggest critic you will find against Us invasions in the middle east is myself,however,to be fair to obama on this one,he didnt instigate this little adventure.
The british and french did,obama was reluctant to engage,but if he had stood down he would have been accused of weakening US,s position,and all other nasty accusations,this one was definitely a case of damned if I do damned if I dont.

As for the airstrikes,the hypocrisy on this matter is so obvious one would have to be bloody stupid not to notice the glaring gaps between the intervention in Libya,and the head in the sand attitude towards syria,a country incidentally that has murdered more of it,s citizens than Libya has.
When it comes to matters in the middle east I have long ceased to look for fairness,especially from the major western powers,

The United States is intervening in a civil war.
By what right?

How about having the French and British intervening in the U.S civil war on the side of the South back in 1860 ?.

Would that have been the right thing?

Anyone with a smattering of knowledge of U.S foreign policy would have to understand that the United States is not interested in the rights and lives of people of the world but rather what they have under their soil that we need.

When in history has the United States ever cared about the cruelty and murderous intents of dictators that in so many cases we have either installed or propped up for years?


The United States doing the RIGHT and MORAL thing in its foreign policy would be an anomaly.

It would require someone with morals and a sense of justice as president.

i hear a bi-partisan committee a try sue the prez re. the war...excuse me &quot;action&quot; in libya...he apparently ignored the so-called law regarding the war-powers act...bush did the same but supposedly courted congress more, thus less opposition to his murderous campaigns in iraq &amp; afghanistan...
in any case we continue to drop million-dollar missiles on libya to aid rebels in a civil war....while the atrocities in syria &amp; saudi are ignored...(and black youth unemployment is probably 40% or higher)...

President Obama was nominated by the Democrat Party to be EXACTLY WHAT HE IS AND TO DO EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING and that is to NOT change a thing.

Were he a moral and ethical person : two things

1) He would never have risen to a seat in the Senate and/or would have quit in disgust when he found out what a criminal and immoral enterprise he was involved with.

2) The Democrat Party would NEVER have nominated him for president where morality and ethics have no place.

Anyone who believes otherwise has to be near totally ignorant or willfully ignorant of the criminal U.S foreign policy which EVERY president leads.
