This is Melanie Amaro and she was off the charts on last week's X-Factor television show. Her performance was extra special to me because her father and I grew up in the same neighborhood on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and we went to school together. In fact, we both settled in the same area of Ft. Lauderdale for over 20 years until I moved away just three years ago so I know Melanie from as far back when she was just a baby.

I cried like a Newborn when she sang this song.. Was so happy they let her finish the whole thing.

I saw it and was so moved ...she and another contestant need to jus by pass the show all together.If I were some music Exec I would snatch her away and do some work with her.Shi noh need fi batta batta troo di whole show.. shi fi inna di studio tomorrow
