I think they got a day off for the queens mothers funeral! A week off for the head of state, two days for Phil the Greeks funearal.

Well at least it's better than no trees planted or roads fixed at all. Have you been to St Ann's Bay recently? The coast road is find but just go one road north....I was shocked. I went for the first time last November. Up in the hills where my grandparents and great grandparents are from, some of the roads are down to the bedrock. I don't think any one has touched those roads since they were put in.

Anyway, still enjoyed the Balcony seen and the airplanes blowing red, white, and blue smoke. Really dramatic presentation. Didn't see the concert but I have seen a video of the fireworks and they were spectacular.

As fe de concert cbc have it on 2nite wid mansbridge, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I did hear a rumour that Portia sent them a bill.

Falmouth spent a FORTUNE!! (I posted the article already).

Hope they come to my family's home town next..heaven knows, it does need to be spruced up.

These visits do spark interest in Jamaica as a tourist destination and get more front page and prime time coverage for Jamaica than we could pay for in Come to Jamaica commercials.

Anyway back to the Diamond Jubilee. It was well done and I enjoyed what I saw.
