Rich, I was going to run it by you before posting by personal mail because some of the remarks are somewhat unflattering to those that questioned her honesty. And because of a certain individual's over reaction and bizarre behavior to everything and anything, I did not want this lady to receive any nasty grams and hate mail. I believe she has been traumatized enough...but anyway here it is and I hope it does not open a can worms for Veronica.

I do not need to respond to these allegations. There is no reason for me to defend my story to strangers. If people want to doubt me that is fine. There is a long history of doubting the stories of women who have been victimized by sexual crimes, so this is no surprise. If you would like to share the information, the attack happened at Rose Hill Cottage in Long Bay in the Portland parish. For anyone who knows anything about news reporting, they would understand that the choice not to include the specific town was the choice of the editors, not my own. I have been very clear throughout my story that my cuts were superficial, although I do in fact have a scar on my left arm. There are reports with the American Embassy, the Long Bay police department, the Port Antonio police department and the Port Antonio hospital.


I do think it's very unfortunate to see the racist comments regarding my story. However, these are out of my control. Like the misogynist attack you shared with me, these are to be expected on the Internet.

Lonewolf, if this lady was truly attacked then that is a very unfortunate incident. however, you can see why some of us have reason to question the validity of this story. Perhaps it is true, perhaps it is totally fabricated, my gut is telling me that there was an incident which perhaps was embellished.
