You go the big kindle - veddy nice I also have a hot pink cover and have to say I do enjoy being able to just pop down a book whenever I just finish one, wherever I am
It is very tactile in comparison to the an iphone, but once the adjustment is made, works!

i bought the new Agatha Raisin book as soon as it done charge last nite..now the beaut is that it still in di name of the person who gi mi it n dem suppose to transfer it to moi ....but truss mi mi a buy couple books on dem credit card until dem cawl fi transfer it...dem juss tell mi dat Amazon tole dem dem would haffi transfer it if it was a gift , wich it is....chile mi love it arreddy

So let me tell you about Amazon agen and why I love them so.
After I got that free game "EveryWord" on my Kindle - I mussi press the likkle controller so much that it broke...
I called Amazon although I was waay over the warranty limit (remember I bought my Kindle when they were still going for over $300
) when the Kindle 2 just came out. - I was hoping that perhaps they would charge me a small fee to fix it or something
I was not even on the phone with them for 5 minutes - they said they would send me out a NEW Kindle of the type I had (*so if I had a Kindle 1 that is what I would have gotten) and I should send that one back in.
I got the new one THE NEXT DAY... and I immediate;ly noticed that the pictures and letters were brighter than my older one, my entire library was already loaded and up top it said "Jazz's second Kindle" - NOt only that - they apologized profusely for the inconvenience and then a few days later I got an email saying that they were refunding me some money
and over $200 at that!
I still don;t know if we got the refund because I used my husbands card and he can't remember to check his account to see if the refund went in or not \o/
regardless... I am happier than a pig in a poke and a Kindle user for LIFE!

Welcome to the club! I got mine as a gift too, but I was able to change the the info to log into my amazon account and not the gift giver's but I don't remember how I did it, I know it wasn't difficult though.
Jazz - mi a go bruk mine and see if dem will send me di newest one!
I have that game to and the one where the letter dem drop off but ni nuh like dat one mi play Every Word nuff to. I also got that one where you building a town or something like that, mi figet what it name but it not free $3.99 (mi go look it name Triple Town) you can waste a hour or so pon it but some people seem to really like it.

YES! If you love to read all of us were "old school, page turning, book reader" this is just another way. I still go to the library and get books cause I am not trying to buy all my book club books if I can help it, but you can't beat the convenience of the e-readers and the ability to have instant access to books.
Actually i think i develop book ADD cause i am walking around with a library in my hands so as soon as a book start to bore me I click on another one! For our book club we chose a series book and those with the kindle read all three books cause they were like when we came to the end of the first one we had to know what happened so in less than a minute they had it no waiting instant gratification!Comment
