Well I don't know what I wrote before but I only want to say I just received my KINDLE in the mail today as an early Christmas gift and even though it has only been 2 hours I officially LOVE IT!!!

Yes the Kindle 2. So far the novelty has not worn off and I guess it must seem like paper to my eyes as I keep trying to &quot;flip&quot; the page and then remember I have to press the button. I also got the leather cover with it so it feels like I am holding a regular book.

The Nook looks good too and things that I hear people say they wished the Kindle had such as memory card expansion, the Nook has it, and the color screen at the bottom. I already had the amazon account and figure Amazon can price cut them if they need to since they sell more than books and give me a better deal on the books.

Because the Kindle was a gift and when I gave out my list of things I would want for Christmas di Nook never even release yet...

yeah. we were back and forth on this too, that the books are cheaper at amazon, plus with the kindle you can do likkle web surfing (though this section is still experimental I hear)

we were also debating about the &quot;upgrade&quot; feature for both of them. cause mi see dat amazon come out wid dem &quot;latest generation&quot; after the first one was released

people want to be able to upgrade to the latest edition when it is released.

for people who read a lot of technical stuff and want PDF support, the Nook has an advantage.

I think people have to make a list of what is important to them and see which one has it.

like you mi have one gift cert fi amazon suh it look like is dat mi might end up get.

there are some people who really want one, but are waiting to see which company will perfect or offer a device with all the bells and whistles.

bottom line is this &quot;market&quot; is about to get hot, suh if you not really in a rush you can wait and see.

Yes if I was spending my own money I would wait till the price dropped to bout $150 which might happen in another couple years, but since it wasn't

Oh and I do want to add that most of the &quot;classics&quot; books you can get for free, so even if you short on cash for books you can always find something free to read. They have other books for free too, I downloaded a free murder mystery book &quot;By Reason of Insanity&quot;, so I was happy with that.

Yeah man, mi send out my list to Santa early early. Actually my brother neva waan carry it wid him mi tink him did fraid fi pay duty pon it so him tell me him send it early so me can load di books and use it when me traveling to JA.
