You know, I am reading these replies and all I am thinking is that some of you really need to go and [censored] yourselves. You don't know me. How dare you assume what my reasons are for not wanting my son to go to the funeral. I have nothing to hide and if I did not want him to go because of the old crow then I damn sure would have said so. I know what I have been through with her and it was pure hell!


The funeral was today. As I said, I did not send my son. I did let him go to the gathering at the house though. I told him about it on Thursday and he didn't seem affected. He has had night terrors since he was about 2....this was the main reason I didn't want him at the funeral. Last night he was screaming out in his sleep and I tried to wake him. When he finally did I asked him what was scaring him so. He said that old people were chasing him. I asked him if it was his grandma and he said no. I said, so you are going to grandma's house after the funeral right? He said "you mean grandma's party?" I couldn't help but laugh. I guess because I told him that there was going to be food and people he thinks it is a party. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

I thought long and hard about it and I have to admit I acted quite badly. Yes I hate the woman and I am relieved that I won't ever have to deal with her again, but if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have met my husband and I wouldn't have had my son.

But at the same time, it's not like you'd go to Saddam's funeral and say he was such a wonderful man when you know in life he was wicked and evil, now would you?


And to whichever of you it may concern, I AM a prize and an asset to ANY man and it has nothing to do with the color of my skin. That said, there is no need for further banter in this topic.
