No they are not Domincan products those products are easily found here in the US and or on-line.
The tea tree is very good I recommend it to everyone, check out this website for it (I love this brand) www.desertessence.com .

If you are looking for Domincan products 10 en 1 is very good also. Many of the products my hairdresser uses she brings back from DR so it is hard to find it here.

BTW - you said you blow dry your hair to get it straight...doing that often puts a lot of stress on your hair, black ppl hair is very fragile when wet so it is best to roller set your hair and then blow it straight.

Well I washed my hair then added something for deep treating hair called "Deep Gro" or something like that. I massaged handfuls in my hair and scalp then covered with a steam cap for over an hour (I was doing chores so when I finished I would remove the cap).

I rinsed then added some infusium and oil moisturiser to my hair. Didn't bother to blow dry it because someone in this thread reminded me that black hair is very fragile when wet and too much blowdrying isn't good.
My real roots are coming in nicely too

so how is my hair today?
I have it parked under a cap right now until I decide what to do with it. I wear this cap to work everyday too! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Unnu have time... I've been wearing my head bald likka Kojak for the past 8 yrs. Attempted to grow back my hair 'bout 3 yrs ago... could not deal with the maintenance bizniz, mi just run back to the barber and bald it off.

I used to shear off my hair every 4 weeks. Now, I do it every 6-8 wks. It takes 10 mins of my time, and $15 out of my pocket. I've fiddled with the idea of going locs, but the thought of spending any time over 20 mins in a saloon is way too much for me.

One thing though, a nuh everybaddy khow how fi trim head almost clean shaven. I always get nuff stares when my head is shaven clean.

i always said when i finally get this style i would get a tattoo on my head - this is my after locs look
