today...all road work.
biked to the meeting point (15 miles)
ran back to gym for meeting (7.5 miles)

With all this training you been doing, you slim down to nothing yet?


CB - next week will be my last 3 mile x 3 per week then I'll move on to the one hour programme. My first race (3.5 miles) isn't til July so I can take my time.

Yes...I am nutso for ever agreeing to do this triat. Di current mr ilp is the natural athelete in this house. He thought it would be a great way for us to spend time together [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70392-silly.gif[/img] and a great way to raise money for charity. I have learned A LOT about myself during this process, so that has been good. di current mr ilp says I will do another triat, but I dont think so. I mean I will do other races (in singular events), but not another combination. this triat will be something that i can say i have done.

EG, I am hardly skinny. I have dropped weight, but that is because I just cant eat the amount of food in a day that is required for me to maintain my pretraining weight. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif[/img] Dropping some of the pounds have made me more efficient. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img] I am sure that once the daily intense grind is over that I will put on back a few of those pounds.

ILP, I never have a problem eating food. Knowing when to stop is usually my problem, especially during the winter [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] Fortunately running helps keep the fat level down [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70384-praying.gif[/img]

Maybe I should try a tri one year, just to see how I do. Would have to improve my swimming and cycling non-skills first [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70361-embarassed.gif[/img]
