what evidence if any, have been presented that these men identified were involved other than their ID's being there at the site.

I can't help but be skeptical esp. after 9/11 when everyone wearing a turban or remotely related to anyone muslim was thought of to be a terrorist.

BTW - what ever happened to Mohammed Atta's father after he came out and said his son was not dead.

LINDSEY GERMAINE, FROM AYLESBURY, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
Police sources have said the fourth suicide bomber was a Jamaican-born British resident named Lindsey Germaine.

He is understood to have been living at a house in Northern Road, Aylesbury that police raided on Wednesday night.

Little is known of his background and sources say confirmation of his identity may depend on DNA analysis.

He is thought to be responsible for the Russell Square Underground bomb, where 21 people have been confirmed dead and hundreds more injured.

Some of the remains of the dead are still to be recovered.

Excellent questions, Marie; that did cross my mind as well, but remember from their "surveilance" cameras in the station they said that the four men were standing together before they went their separate ways, posturing that there could be a link between all four. Who was Atta?

Thanks, which could mean that not everything that we hear, we should believe; however the fact that they came outrightly and said this guy is Jamaican, true or not, sent chills down my spine.

FYI the NY Times has reported that Tony Blair is seeking measures to prevent people from entering the UK with less than good intentions which means that Look out!!!!!!!! Britain's version of the Patriot Act is on its way.

Agreed Marie, I am here thinking how they linked the others so fast with the bombings, and if they weren't just average citizens who went on the tube to go about their business. As I said before though, i don't think they would risk irking the Muslims any further and now Jamaicans by phony suspicions. Even looking at the McVeigh incident, they weren't too far off from their mark, wi didn't know who to believe at first. **sigh** what a world we live in; juss watching how dis will play hout, and btw, dem seh look likehim dead tuh?

EXACTLY - and that's a scary thing. What happens when neighbors start suspecting thier JA'can or Muslim neighbors of being terrorists for silly reasons or no reason at all. "I saw my JA'can neighbor carrying a backpack headed toward the bus stop this morning!"

back to WWII or even the cold war era when persons would call in and say I suspect my neighbor. dont' even go that far just a few years ago a man was interviewed for farenheit 9/11 and said he voiced his opposition to the way the Saudi's were given police protection at their embassy in WA, the only country receiving it and the Feds showed up at his door.

But guess this, has anyone thought of the fact that since this site is called jamaicans.com that this is one of the first site which will be under scrutiny.

*sigh* what happened to people co-existing peacefully. It's as if there is never ending thirst for bloodshed.

Years ago as a kid in JA I grew up hearing about Lebanon and Beiruit but ***??????? this is right in our backyard now.

What exactly should Britain do to avoid future terrorist attacks? I personally see nothing wrong with a tighter immigration policy. If Jamaica was bombed by terrorissts, I am positive that the government would lock down on who gets in. Any country would - who wants to be subjected to such acts of terror on a continual basis?

I guess it is not too surprising that someone of Jamaican heritage, who got caught up in a Muslim sect that preaches hate, was involved in the bombings. Unfortunately, whether right or wrong, Muslins are going to be under much greater scrutiny in England and other western countries.
