This is one argument posited by many, and they have a right to their opinions. The fact is, however Iraq is at WAR, however a misnomer that is. In other words they know that death and destruction comes with that eterritory.

England is not at war, the US was not at war, Madrid was not at war when cowardly bastards decided to strike WITHOUT notice. There is a difference..and to digress when Saddam Hussein gassed his citizens, [the Kurds, thousands of them] if I remember correctly, there was no time out for silence in respect for the dead either.

Why didn't the fanatics go after him for that, or were they just waiting for the moment to strike, but GW got there first?

SIXTH MAN:
An Egyptian-born chemistry student, aged 33 and with a PhD in biology, is being hunted by police.

He rented a flat in the Leeds suburb of Burley and may have handed the keys to the fifth man, vanishing days before the bombings, possibly bound for Egypt.

It is not known whether he was aware of the plot before he left the UK.

England and the US are at war. Who do you think Iraq is at war with? I don't ever recall Bush making an announcement that the war was over.

It's just that here in the US, we go and make war in other countries, and we never expect the realities of war to reach our shores. This is why the media was banned from showing film of the caskets coming home.

Let us NOT EVER forget the fervor the US went in after 9/11. Remember, people's passports were taken for no reason other than the fact that they were members of activist organizations who protested war in Iraq. And let us NEVER forget that people's homes and businesses were raided because they had Muslim employees or friends who may have been suspected of once visiting a mosque that may have possibly had terrorist members. Let's NEVER forget that Native Americans, hispanics, and people who may have had the same skin tone as Muslims were beaten and killed in US streets after 9/11.

I stand corrected Napi where England is concerned and even Spain, however they are not at war ON HOME TURF, those who attacked are not members of any military as far as I wish to think. In terms of the US, it was NOT at war when "9/11" occurrred. Mypoint is, if they wish to fight, then declare war openly and fight like a man. Declare war that INNOCENT people can take whatever precautions or risks, rather than striking in ambush. That is my point.

Hasib Mir Hussain: Aged 18, lived Holbeck, Leeds. Reported missing on day of bombings. Said to have turned very religious two years ago. ID found in No 30 bus.

Shehzad Tanweer: Aged 22, born Bradford, lived Beeston, Leeds. Studied religion in Pakistan. Forensic evidence linking him to Aldgate blast.

Fourth bomber: Understood to be Jamaican-born Lindsey Germaine, who lived in Buckinghamshire.
