The Atheist Agenda

The atheist agenda has been divided into teams and we want to congratulate them on their good work.

The brown team has been making phony fossils and planting them for scientists. Thanks to their great work almost all scientists are convinced the world is billions of years old. Keep up the good work guys.

The white team has been putting phony red shifted lights in the sky that look like distant galaxies. Astronomers see these and conclude the light from them has been travelling for billions of years instead of a few microseconds. Great art work.

The black team goes into print shops that produce bibles and introduces contradictions and nonsense. Cain knew his wife sort of stuff. Thanks to black team nobody with a brain believes the bible anymore.

The blue team frames priests as child molesters and ministers as embezzlers. Thanks to blue team nobody can see a TV evangelist without laughing.

The purple team disguises themselves as famous religious leaders and makes nonsense statements to the press. Great work on the teletubbies.

So there you have it wonder no longer. you have a small glimpse into the atheist agenda. Of course the whole thing will never be revealed to you because if you are not an atheist we will not let you in on it. Until of course we have achieved our goals but by then we will no longer have need of our agenda.

hi jedi. yep. came back yesterday to find this fiver character being dragged through the mud. figured i owed it to him to put in a good word. i've been feeling quite far from all the going ons in here and been off pondering the infinite. not sure how long i'll stay.

actually most people would say things really suck but i try mantain perspective and watch the cycles. i'm fine. the yours is not. that's about all i'm prepared to say on this for now but you asked and i'm not about to BS you. it's all a part of the ride.

I stand corrected on your beliefs, if I have offended, I apologise.

I can only glean positions from what I read.
As to David he was punished for a lot more than being a pinhead, but at least he was a repentant pinhead, when caught in his sin he didn't go into denial, he a King, exposed all to those around him. It bought him disgust as a leader, but restored a right relationship with God. so that God could say of him "a man after my own heart".

You know what I find in this forum, there are too many fragile personalities, we are so unwilling to admit we could be wrong that we get offended by everything.

There is not one word used for fool in the Bible, God considers anyone who deny's his existence "nabal" one Hebrew word for fool.

Proverbs 1:7

Well I must say that posting scripture that refers to one who doesn't believe in you God is not very thought provoking for me. I of course had the desire to have a knee jerk reaction, but really when I thought about I don't really care. See I don't believe in the bible as the word of God, so the fact that it calls unbelievers fools, is a no point. It would be like me getting mad at the story of little red riding hood for portraying wolves in a negative light. It has no bearing on my reality.

However this is a small example of why Christians and Atheists get along so poorly. If one denies God he is then labeled with all these lovely stigmas by those who are Christians. I mentioned this to Jedi before as well.

Truly how do you feel when you are thought inferior because of your belief in God? And don't try and tell me that saying someone is a fool or a tool of Satan is not a reflection of thinking less of those people.

If I had a book that was a thousand years old that told me Mr. bunny said you were a fool and evil and going to a horrible ugly place when you died, would it justify my calling you names and telling you you needed to change.

Would it make it better that I could throw quotes from my old book that said so, and then say "see it's not my personal opinion, or what I think, it's what Mr. Bunny said in this book".

I think Christians would find that if they left atheists alone, and did not insist on making their religions rules, the rules of nations, that instead of insulting them and throwing scripture at them constantly. Christians just walked away and said "good I glad you don't believe, I do, but you don't need to", and kept their faith in their houses of worship, and their own homes where it belonged, there would not be a problem between Christians, and Atheists.

and I'm not talking about Christians not being able to talk about it. What I'm talking about is not condemning those that don't believe, and not trying to convert everyone that they can.

But sadly I think we both know that isn't going to happen. Why? because your old book says that we who don't believe are evil, and fools, and there for we don't deserve any respect as to our wish to not be bombarded with it. Your old book tells you that you have to go out and try and talk everyone into seeing the world the way you do, even if they have absolutely no interest or desire to share your faith.

There is a reason why Atheists and say Buddhists, Hindu's or practitioners of Obeah don't have the same conflict as Atheists, and Christians. It's because Christians actively go out and force their beliefs on others. Because Christians actively try and reform the laws to suit their beliefs without any regard for the beliefs of others. Because they have no respect for personal choice of belief, and freedom. because they think that their God, and their book is the only right way, and everyone else is wrong.

So sadly this conflict will continue, until either Christianity is out grown or radically changed by humans, or until the Christians get their desire, and every Atheist is either converted, or killed, by a vengeful petty God that has no respect for the unique, and wonderful variety of human thoughts, desires, and beliefs.

You make some good points rebel.

I'd like to point out though that each religion has its fanatics - Islam comes to mind, since it has been so successful in taking over government in many places.

But also not every Christian is evangelical, that is, not all feel the need to condemn non-Christians or convert them.

Most Christians I know (offline) are like that, they're just doing their thing, happy to assist you if you want but never pushing or condemning others.
