Re: The atheist agenda, from an atheist perspective.
True NYer, I totally agree, and perhaps I should have phrased my point to point out it is the evangelical Christians that foster this attitude not the ones that just have their faith and enjoy it. I suppose there can be a bit of a oversight on the part of some with Atheistic leanings in separating the evangelical from the non. I too fall pray to making assumption based on my experience with a few. and that is not correct either.
Atheists from what I know aren't to fond of Islam either
However accepted did kind of make my point about some Christians, in the sense that he found it necessary to quote scripture that referred to non believers as fools. His perspective, inspired by his book. But why was it necessary for him to post it to atheists saying this is just for you? That is definitely the kind of thing that keeps the gap wide.
I think it would be a great world if only we could all respect each others choices.

I'd like to point out though that each religion has its fanatics - Islam comes to mind, since it has been so successful in taking over government in many places.
But also not every Christian is evangelical, that is, not all feel the need to condemn non-Christians or convert them.
Most Christians I know (offline) are like that, they're just doing their thing, happy to assist you if you want but never pushing or condemning others.[/qb]
