Jajewel your place is beautiful!! Right across the street from the beach too. Your in Duncan's Bay, correct? I should go back and refresh my memory about how you acquired the place. Was the house already there or did you build it yourself? With some proper advertising you should be booked all through the tourist season.

I'm really quite a distance from Negril, because I'm in the opposite direction of Negril, from Mobay. I'm about 1 hr. from the airport, so I would say 2 good hours from Negril....hope that doesn't discourage you.

I used to almost ALWAYS go to Negril when I went to Ja., but after I saw how peaceful and beautiful it was here with that gorgeous deserted beach with no one to hassle me, I really fell in love with the area.

Yes, Schultz, it's in Duncans Bay and I did purchase the original, small one bedroom house already built. I have raised the roof on the original structure and added a large One bedroom loft with a spiral staircase and then proceeded with the 2 floor addition.

It has one bedroom upstairs with a double futon in the kit/liv/diningroom and also a great open air porch in back that I did a poured concrete seating/table arrangement that can also sleep another person (with a mosquito net, of course!)...so could sleep 5.

The ground floor has 2 bedrooms and again a futon in the living area, so can sleep 6.

Windows are scheduled to arrive Apr. 20th and then I can proceed to furnish and decorate it...that's the fun part for me! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Hi Seveen,...thanks for looking in, and YES it is a real house!! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70371-jump.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70371-jump.gif[/img]...I love the fence also....it was put in by the previous owner.

One of the interesting things about this property is that it has only been owned by women. (wonder if that has any significance ?)...One Ja'can, one Canadian, & 3 americans, including me & my partner. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70402-thinking.gif[/img]

Being an artist, I love color!...when I bought the original house it was painted, guess what?!...WHITE, of course! I just thought it needed more life. I wanted it to be noticed.

The color is actually a stock Ja'can paint color called "calypso"
