a few- yes; but more likely curly or frizzy than straight...

those wowen in the picture have straightened hair...

if you watch ethiopian films from back in the day they always wore afros...but just like most other modern african women;

i think it started in the 70's &amp; 80's...if you go couple pages back i posted pics of ethiopians from like the 30's 40's &amp; 50's...
back then creaming was very rare..now it is the norm

Visit east Africa and you'll find naturally straight or naturally almost straight hair is very common. One Sudanese nurse I know, I used to call her Indian hair to wind her up.

I can imagine, but IMHO I think she is better looking than the other two. The other two just have skin color and that's it....nothing special at all.

The one in the middle has skin colour as well! And it's not worse than the other two's!

I dont find her the most beautiful of the three. Saw some other photos she has extreme extremities , her palms are much too long, her chin to short, her eyes too diminishing, the first one is more pleasing when you discard colour.
I know first hand how these people discriminate each other. But this selection of the darker one proves it more. I wonder what prompt them to this political decision.

ANYHOW, the rest of Africa should take note because the misses in the Caribbean represent Africa more than your typical Miss Ghana et al.

Just because she is darker she represents a more 'african' beauty? Puhlease! Most of us are not that dark. Also she is not even pretty. How about a dark chocolate woman that is also pretty(and there are plenty of those)! No more Alek Wek's or unnattractives thrown a bone simply because they are dark skinned!

So you say but would you date someone with her complexion? I find alot of people(especially black men) talk the talk but wouldn't date and marry someone very dark.
