Winners in pageants are often selected based on many factors, not just their &quot;beauty&quot; by whatever standards they are perceived.

When judges go to combine their points and spread sheets, they are often as surprised as anyone who ends up winning.

You have Amharic and Tigre women that are NATURALLY that colour. I've been to Ethiopia seven times and I don't think any Italians were near the quiet villages that I visited.

These people range from jet black to Arab looking - without European seed. Don't forget the country is larger than France and Spain combined.

Even their hair and nose isn't at all west African, like ours. Those three women look typically Ethiopian. Tribes stick together generally. Gambela people are very dark.
