thanks..i was trying to find out whether the sentiments you believed to be Bob were specific to him or derived from rasta philosophy

it implies that now that obama is prez of the u.s. (which many people see as the head of the world- therefore making obama the ruler-head of the world)...that now that this has happened, racial issues have all but disappeared or no longer important...

well, i think that interpretation of post-racial is not necessarily commonly agreed on - i've explained on this board that i interpret it differently. i don't see that it means a disappearance of racial issues at all.

regardless, though, how does marley's view of things through the lens of african disqualify him from a dialogue with a &quot;post-racial&quot; president as you define it? i'm not seeing a clear cause and effect between the two positions you've mentioned.
