Seems to me Barack’s message is Peoples Redemption, which was also Bob's Message. Barack Hussein Obama is the President of the USA, Bob Marley was a Singer, Song Writer Activists, who was not the President of the USA, Jamaica or anywhere, he had a much wider message, less targeted message, but the notion that Bob Marley is this figure that you are holding up to be a spokesperson for only narrowly defined Black/African Issues and would not grace the Inauguration of a USA President if invited is bunkum!

Just to prove the lie about Barack that he did not advocate for Africa and Africans. About the same time of Bob death Barack and his fellow students at Occidental College was holding public protest and urging the University to disengage from their investments in Southern Africa.

This along with his well-known work as a Community Organizer in the South Chicago Area.
Of course dishonest Black Posters will tear down another Black Person over symbolism of Hair and Racial Makeup just to make a point that Barack could not be in the same league as Bob who was a pure as the driven snow.
Barack has much more in common with Bob that some of us will rise to admit.

You are missing a chunk he was organizing rallies at Occidental College to urge the College to divest their investments in Southern Africa.

And another argument I would like to take issue with is that he has never talked about Repatriation. He may never have mentioned repatriation but he surely talked about Restorative Justice in relation to the Blacks in the USA after the Court struck down Jim Crow. He was killed in the Presidential Elections for it after they dug up the tape from his NPR outtaview. Some of us don't think or do a little research before we commit nonsense to the Board.
