I was watching a programme about an Indian film producer and he used the analogy of when one crab tries to climb out of the pot, the other crabs (Indians) drag it back down.

It's not only black people who are red eye amongst each other. </div></div>

i think given time &amp; education we will become the most unified people on earth due to a common denominator- prejudice from almost all other racial groups due to propoganda &amp; misinformation spread around the world by our enemies &amp; also by those of us unaware of our true history which has shaped the attitude of people around the world toward us...
we must work together or perish;
that doesn't mean everyone will join hands &amp; sing kumbaya, it just means greater cooperation &amp; more upful works

<span style="font-weight: bold">I agree totally with Tropicana's statement - the evidence is in the symptoms.
Point of clarification - Africa is a continent, NOT a country -like Greece, or Italy.
There might well be a time when we will become unified, that time is obviously not in the present, so in the present we are judged based on relative position of other races.
When Asians run businesses - who normally is in the shop running this business with them - other Asians.
When they get a job in a large Company or government organisation - they often find ways to get another &quot;cousin&quot; into that position.

Asians will live 10 to a house, to help contribute to the education of another Asian to be a doctor, lawyer, start a business etc. Yes there are a lot more of them, but the net result is that a lot more of them is helped by these methods.

When a black person gets into a superior position, not only is the pressure there to help the ones who have not become so rich, but the ones who try to get money from the now &quot;richer&quot; black person, will not use it for their educational development, start a business, or invest no no no...they use it to buy next designer trainers, car deposit, hair do, other depreciating consumables.

And yes, blacks do get into positions through hard work, and there are 'instances' of the above behaviour used by other groups, but imagine if we were to adopt more of these collective methods in the same proportions that the other groups use them?

Not only that, there is the additional affliction of being colour struck, and obsession with hair - an issue that I think is so irrelevant in our current scheme of things, it almost warrants an argument as to why we don't just all go bald !!!</span>

when japan invaded manchuria &amp; committed the rape of nanking...who did it?
other asians;
world war 2 was a big european tribal war...
when all those whites were killing each other were they crabs in a barrel?
i guess so;
election time in america (a country) and you can find whites fighting bitterly against other whites...

Yes. However we are talking about degrees of behaviour that serves to undermine a particular race.
Which basically means how much more often or higher proportion of that happens amongst black people than it does amongst Asians.
Asians DO exploit other Asians (especially their lower 'castes'), the profit of their businesses - whether using exploititive methods or not, goes back into Asian economics (their education, other businesses, property, etc)
Asians are also afflicted with a form of colour strucked-ness ingrained in in their castes systems, but within the castes, there is a level of cohesian that serves to benefit them economically.

Yes, I agree with the final translation. But where were the other nations when they were doing so...
They each had acquired enough superior might (in the form of arms), economics, and on the path to expanding their 'empires'
At that time - most Black/African states were still under foreign control, and we were looking hopeful on the day that we would again control out own resources.

At that time we were still the underdog (even Japan did and does participate in that). At this stage in time, we are still vulnerable to ANYTHING as a race - for example;
- We don't have major institutions that will restore our lost ancient history and put us back on the roadmap.
- We don't have any major health institutions that can root out diseases such as AIDS, and it is still possible for any major foreign body to go into any Black country and spread diseases through warfare.
- We do not have resources to research into ailments that we are 'predisposed' to get, even if many voice suspicion as to whether these are facts or not.
- Many of our nations don't have the resources to exploit the resources that can bring us economic wealth, either due to lack of know-how, money, or leadership.
Many black people who suspect that their is any form systematic skew against blacks/Afrikans, have very little means of proving or disproving what they suspect, as the research and data available is only available through means that black people have no majority control over, yet we are not yet at a stage of having major institutions that specialise in &quot;black&quot; industries - whether for wealth, science, knowledge, whatever.
