Nah man, de part of di world dat ave higest suicide rate is in east-europe, like Russia n Lithuania... They say Swedens suicide rate is at 33 place. with 19,7 suicides of 100 000 a year.America is kind of close with 17,6...

Well the problem is that as u say they have accepted their position, when I was in ja I got mad/sad bout the fact that they jus worke up build spliff, sitt pan same chair all day n smoke n then go bed, they didnt do anything to try change dem situation... so free education is a must...

There are those on here who want to make Jamaica Cuba, or Ethopia, or the united states.. none of these national amorphisation will ever work.. it is like simply chopping off an arm and replacing it with a dead persons arm...

From my experience of nordic countries including sweden the nations seem as bland as cured herring.. Jamaica sparkles like ackee on the tongue... like a life infused with champange.. And it is the same creativeness which is the flip side.. We are despite what the black nationalist beleive not a nations of conformist...We are a nation of creative individualists for the most part...

oh yeah we will envy the health service, the job oppertunities, the infrastructure that Sweden boasts... And we aspire to have such things but not to make Jamaica more like sweden., That is as big a disaster to as make Jamaica more like Cuba...

Jamaica is its own paradgim...

Interestingly enough if you compare Jamaica 100 years ago to Sweden 100 years ago some surprising results spring up..

I would suggest a reveiw of the photography of Albert Kahn as a starting point... Doc also made an interesting comment once about epo genetics, I thought he was on one of his flights of fancy.. till I read a paper on the study of the effect of famine in the nordic countries genetics....The fact that they had more common famines came as a shocj to a poor ignorant Jamaican such as myself </div></div>

well we dont have no famines in sweden maby when it was year 1850... But dnt u think its kinda intresting that we came from cave man, we have created "paradise" with what we have. n Jamaica where "slaves", got independece 1962. I dont see jamaica developing, mi kno u had trainline a while but afta some accident it stopped run n de rail is still left. Most rich ppl in jamaica dont help poorer jamaicans, so how could the country move forward? with people like christofer coke, n different drug dealers.. jamaicans wake up, and realize u ave de best country, why do u destroy it with criminality?

I dont want Jamaica to get like sweden, believe me jamaica is all I tink about n long to. I love the hole no problem attitude r a so it go, I love the hole country the music n the vibes towards mi ;P. But I hate the fact that you are killing eachother, u ave fi fraid to walk outside etc... mad... I want to change that...

I believe every word you say in this post, specifically the ones that are highlighted .like i said before, the fact that you are Swedish or of any European descent, would be a major advantage in Jamaica ,you will be highly regarded and placed on a pedestal by a lot of Jamaicans.

If you are serious you should contact the PSOJ, or one of the major politician parties, the JLP would be a better choice for someone like you, SINCE THEY HAVE A TRADITION OF HAVING FOREIGN BORN INDIVIDUALS AS LEADER OF THE PARTY.. GOOD LUCK.

Thanks, I tried look for it before but didnt find it, Im going to look on the info..
I wonder what they want u to have read n so, like english n then I should maby get involved in politics in sweden, or maby I should read about the history of jamaican parties, what are their requirements? My dad been in the government in sweden and he is still involved, spo maby he knows.. But a only mi weh luuv ja so

examine again the statistics at the turn of the century 20th centuary in terms of population growth....epidemics, yes famines, and GDP growth... it may surprise you....

And by the way what do Norwegians call Swedish Safety Boots ? and while I find it hard to big up alot about Jamaica in the 5 decades I have known Jamaica I beleive there has been developments, I admire alot about Sweden That athete Krabbe for instance.... But frankly it is on the level of boredom, the compared to Jamaica it is homogenous, insipid.. It makes Barbados look like a Roman Orgy in comparision.... yep.. we have some things that are bad, our education system is abysmal, however I would not want to be an imitation of sweden..

I find the average Jamaican twice as interesting as the most superior swede... (Dont feel bad teh average Jamaican is five time more interesting that the most interesting Kanadian!).. I rate our polticians as superior kleptomanics than the swedish.. our economist as far more denuded than the swedish.. Our geologist much more indescisive.. and while Doc Dudd is considered of Nobel Laureate intelligence in for all prizes, the man is considered a dunce in Jamaica! (apologies to the good doctor!)
