Consider that Jamaica has a relatively large campus of the UWI with students from the Eastern Caribbean.

My wife is from St Lucia so i spend a lot of time with Lucians

I work in a multi-cultural environment so I hear the stories...

I am not trying to make up anything... to make us feel 'bad'... I just want us to be aware of our impact on them.,..and try to get along...
I have learnt so much from the way of life in different territories...patience, for example, being the number one...

..yeah...but we all know what we are talking about in this situation...it's nice to be important and to feel blessed, deserving of all good things and numbered among the smartest on the planet...but it is equally pleasant to be respectful of others who may not seem to be as fortunate ...by our standards...you would be surprised at the impact on the world a Caribean team could have ...should we pull together...

The above bolded is how <span style="font-weight: bold">my jamaican family think</span>....when I visit they always say why u want to go to<span style="font-weight: bold"> country</span>....nutin not there.....when I want to visit any part of Jamaica outside of Kingston/Saintandrew

the onus is not ongle on Jamaica to redress attitudes towards inclusion...

if islands like Trinidad still cannot reconcile its internal East Indian /African divide

if islands like Barbados cannot reconcile its internal who is near white enuff to be in this naybahood

then unity in any form an fashion intra island is but a sound bite....

I didn't claim to know everything, I just know how I feel as a Jamaican.
You ask me to propose why they don't like us and I said to ask them because I don't know.

But now that you have spilled the beans, it still tells me much more about them than us.
Because they apparently resent us because of what THEY THINK WE THINK of them.
