I have never been to Amsterdam so how could I possibly offer a personal opinion about it .

As afar as i know Weed is not legal in the netherlands... sale and use is "allowed" in small amounts in certain premises but the growth or trading is still illegal.
the issues they have seem to stem from this half measure.

I agree, no one should do jail time for smoking or using ganja.

I think a ticketing system similar to what is in place for traffic offences would be the most appropriate course of action.

Fi de last time I posted ARTICLES from people who are based in The Netherlands.

I would think that senior tourism officials in The Netherlands would be in a position to render an informed opinion about whether or not they are having issues related to the legalization of ganja.

FYI, they are not "friends". They are colleagues. There is a difference.

There is a level of hipocrasy where cannabis is concerned... Jamaican government gives tascit support to tourist coming and smoking, hanging onto the brand.... It is part of the attraction. My experience of the stuff is that it is an effective safe pain killer when taken as a tea.. much more effective than panadol, gentler than asprin.As a night vision enhancer it is effective. As a social drugsmoking it its down side is that it makes u damn hungry and gives a chance of cancer..

Given the other carcinogens I am exposed diesel, pesticide residues, wifi rays, man made eM radiation, NONRS NATURALLY OCCURING nuclear radiation, Radon radiation from my granite house, rADmobile phones, high power electrical power cables, EM radiation for cathode ray tubes, transfat, teflon from nonstick pans, the occasional stogie, benzoids in coke I mix with my rum and coke, caffeine in my espresso, aspartene, pesticide residues in milk in my latte, the list is endless... I would not worry about getting high on a cannabis....

Course old time people sey it mad u if u hava week mind....but then its medicanal property as a tea is almost magical, almost like a leech...

By the way if u having erractile dysfunction drink more diet coke, aspartene is a arousal enhancer one its negative side effects!..

I dont like the smell of really high quality weed burning so havent smoked the stuff for 23 year 2 months and 5 days...Hash smells better but not a fan!!!!!
