That's irrelevant to the question or to any of the questions I asked. I grew up in Jamaica. I didn't know a thing about racism until I moved to the US and Canada.
Really? With all the talk about good, hair bad hair and who clearer than who How could you have missed it? I guess you weren't paying attention.
people have yet to come to terms that "black" america & "white" america...(also jamaica) see things through a completely different lens...they honestly can't understand why you see it this way just like you can't understand why they see it that way...this is the tragedy of what the so-called founding fathers laid out...they founded the country based on racism & hatred & devil-worship rather than on the true spirit of humanity...what we are seeing is the result
Yes the White witnesses said it was Zimmeravitch. The scream was clearly a young man not a hard ____ man in his 30s.
And you missed the multiple witness that said voices can change under duress? Especially males that were injured in war zones?
No his friend said while they were talking she heard Trayvon say "Why are you following me?" " A voice answered "What are you doing around here?" Then the phone went crash and it went dead. Do you think anyone in their right mind would strike someone and drop their own cell phone.
Again refuted in the testimony. She couldn't make up her mind what was said. That is just one reason she was on the stand for so long. Then you have other witnesses as to where they heard a struggle. This is the conflicting testimony I talk about.
Not if he was on the phone with someone else when Zimmerman cornered him. We are talking about a 17 year old kid here. It probably didn't occur to him to call 911 or have his friend call.
Interesting comment. Most of us are taught from an early age to call 911 when needed. And GZ cornered him? It sure is interesting how some of this stuff comes up. Again, you were not there, nor was I, but the evidence does not show that he was cornered. Let me repeat, one is 6ft under. Yes, it entirely possible that GZ is guilty but the evidence 'appears' (note the quotes) to refute that.
It is interesting how the White people on here are making excuses for Zimmerman....this is consistent with what is going on across your wonderful country. How would you like it if YOUR son was gunned down when he was unarmed?
Note that I did not vote either way, but the jury has spoken. Notice that there are others saying the same thing I'm saying, instead of being a lynch mob without all the facts and bringing up stuff that has not been brought into evidence and only by speculation. How would I like it if my son were murdered? I'd probably have to deal with it because the first question I'd ask is why a 17yo is out after dark. I'd get my rear roasted if I was out after dark. (One can't even discipline their kid nowadays without getting into trouble.) Besides...how is killing or threatening GZ or the jurors going to solve anything? How is identifying them going to bring back TM? All it is going to do is provide for a means to harrass them. Look at what one potential juror said. She believed she could be objective but would not want to serve because she worked nights. She feared for her safety if she were to vote not guilty.
No hard feelings LinSkinny
It's just that you are the first Jamaican I have ever heard say that jamaica is a non racist society
No hard feeling here, but I did not say that Jamaica is a non racist society. I said "I didn't know a thing about racism..." There is a difference between what you said and what I said.
I also said whatever because I know that some chose to climb whatever mountain was presented to them. I know many Jamaicans that did exactly that over the years instead of complaining about racism. They have made a name for themselves in Jamaica and in other countries.

So all Trayvon had to do was climb that mountain and he'd still be alive.
