The family that owns the funeral parlour were dirt poor when they started out. Two sisters had to take turns and share a pair of shoes to go to a school event...the oldest sister tells of getting 5 prunes wrapped in a kerchief and tied with a ribbon one year from Santa Claus. Trashy behaviour and attire has NOTHING to do with income level. What I have always respected and admired about Jamaica is the many people who though poor carry themselves with dignity. Clean clothing, spotless houses, hard-working, well spoken, polite, no cloth ripping when they speak.

the cultural disconnect among jamaicans themselves is a thing that is right there in jamaica, and it is disconcerting to experience it, much less realize it exists.

How could I be saying that this never happens when it is a plain as day in the video and
