Yesterday dem had a story how the soldiers are pist now because odda ppl are pushing a yt poppy to represent peace and not war.

Actually the White Poppy Folks are correct, but you don't need another colour Poppy to represent Peace because that was the original intent of the Red Poppy.
It was to honour the Soldiers who died amongst the Poppy Fields in places like Flanders in WWI and call for an end to all wars.
WWII was then added and the fund raising for the Elders was part of it.
So White Poppy/Read Poppy the original meaning is Peace.
