Nah Bizi, that is a different story. The laid off thing better be met with full time job look though! A big strongback man accepting money from the woman to live, send kids to school etc...that is the kind of thing I'm talkin about. </div></div>

This is different thing. Man take care of his finances is not the same as proclimating that man must take care of ALL finances, other than his.

I am an equal opportunity woman and I guess I am as guilty as anyone for using &quot;man&quot; as an example in this thread.

I also believe the same way for the woman in the LDR.

I guess we should separate gigalos from real men. Gigalos are working men.If a man isn't working is own money, he will eventually get cross and miserable, even if he started out being a nice person. A man's gotta earn his own keep, imo .

to the ladies holding to the letter on the money issues and men......we are not talking about that man who has invested in you and you and him, time AND money and love tried and true, who may run into hard times later....that is a no brainer.....but come on, (and I speak from experience), for YEARS , it's you you you and the money, and they never kick in, hand always out, always a sob story, car wrecks, they're sick family member sick ,funerals, disasters....anything to loosen those purse strings, story after story, visit after visit you go suitcases all laden with homage, sendin [censored] back there by other people, after you get home it's this song... It's THEIR birthday, but ask them even what MONTH your's is in and they can't tell you

Ok yall, I don't say much on here... I have been part of this game not once but twice.. I am not ashamed of myself.. I am the one whom has never ever dated someone of my own race. But, see I date guys from here and there.. I don't have to go to another country to get my groove back or my winston, or as they say in jamaica the big bamboo. I am true to myself.. I am not ashamed.. I got played.. Will I do it again I don't know. Cause really it can happen anywhere.

Ummm humm and you and I KNOW that there are those who go over there who wouldn't be caught dead even LOOKING at a black man back home....that I have a problem with, and them I have a problem with.

But you know what hun....anyone really knows they are being played, it's just are you willing to play the game to get what you want even if it is temporary, and you lie to yourself and try to make it something real, when you know better, ain't no real man constantly letting a woman do everything for him month after month, year after year and it's anything other than what it is.

A year ago I got played big time right here in Memphis, and my mother got played here right into bankruptcy...so yep can happen anywhere.

I can't blame you for that.

My 1st trip to Jamaica was with 4 other women (3 of whom were coworkers). The youngest of the 5 was a very pretty (full of her self) kind of chubby blonde. My girl sat on the plane saying that she don't fool with black men. From the second her toes hit sand in Negril she was off and running. I don't think she slept in her room one night.

It started with the man chasing her. With in a couple of days she was running behind him.

I fell out with her at work shortly there after. So I do not know if she went back for more.

The good part for the rest of was that he drove us a few places.
