My 1st trip to Jamaica was with 4 other women (3 of whom were coworkers). The youngest of the 5 was a very pretty (full of her self) kind of chubby blonde. My girl sat on the plane saying that she don't fool with black men. From the second her toes hit sand in Negril she was off and running. I don't think she slept in her room one night.

It started with the man chasing her. With in a couple of days she was running behind him.

I fell out with her at work shortly there after. So I do not know if she went back for more.

The good part for the rest of was that he drove us a few places.

Girl, I know of few of them myself.. I call them halfsteppers. they are married too their lil white man at home and wouldn't be caught dead with a black guy in the states.

Then come to jamaica and do all the dirt.. I don't like that at all!!

I always remember the man on here, who was putting engagement rings on fingers even, but openly stating.....I could never bring her here to the States.

This disscusion is on LDR'S. The gigs is what most, not all get involed with.

I know a woman who married a gig, and she still has no clue. They have 2 children and he has been in NYC for over 10 years. They vacation in JA every year. He always has some excuse why he has to go out for a couple hours alone in the rental car. Little does she know he is going to Sav to visit his baby mother, which he still 'breeds' with about every other year. Oh yah forgot he has more than 1 baby momma. And for the wife, she sits at the beach and does not have a clue.

BTW, how can you say I need to up myself? I have never had 1 encounter with a beach boy.

As for the scenario you describe...I know pilots who have a family in two different cities and Chicago and LA don't have a clue.....so Jamaica no different.

Do you have a pic with an elderly lady on the floor,just finding out her retirement plan is no more, and the man picking her pockects, instead of giving her cpr?

I have no idea why a person would attack my unbenonest to them my social circle, over the line 'come from farrin, must have money'? That is to funny.

I have had Jamaican immigration, police, business owners and the like come over to my house for visits and drink a jelly and sometimes I would cook, when I was brought fish or greens or both. They all recipicated and I had a plesant visits with them.

So who ever say I need to step it up I am considered 1/2 Jamaican and I am well respected all over the island, in all my travels over all the years. Thank you!

This is an age old subject on these boards, Jamaicans.com. Trip advisor, Mi Yard, GO Local, Negril.com wherever, books, movies, Phd disertations, have been written on this subject. It's been raked over the coals over the years.....but once, one Jamaican sister stepped into one of these threads and stated that the kind of men (most, not saying YOU), most get involved with, their mother would not have felt good enough to sweep the family front yard...nuff said.....he may be a prize for YOU (meaning universal you here), but no self respecting, well bred Jamaican lady would be caught DEAD with him.
