On a related note, one of my white guy friends who worked for years at a bank in London claimed that the black women he met in the UK were very attractive. I've seen the women he fancies and he definitely doesn't go for the ugly ones - black or white.

Mek up onoo mind. I get flack from both sides of the argument:

- those who say I oppose interracial relationships
- those who say I promote racial relationships

Read my lips. People should hook up on the basis of compatibility, common values, common goals, ease of communication, and mutual respect. PERIOD!! There is WAY too much emphasis on hair colour, race, cup size and other totally irrelevant factors that have NO bearing on whether or not a relationship will survive over the long haul.

Last night I was in a bar and this African lady was trying to explain to me that she's not black, she's not brown, she's kind of in between white and brown.

She even pointed at a baseball bat hanging on the wall for reference.

on this side of the pond the general answer from jamaicans may be that Michael Powell is Yankee of Jamaican descent and one of <span style="font-style: italic">those</span> black men who married a white woman.


I say if he is eligible to claim Jamaican citizenship (which both the father &amp; the son are) lets give him the citizenship

As for your second lie let me state clearly. I belive in equal opportunity dating. The current state of affairs in which Black men are dating women of other races in increasingly large numbers and relatively few men of other races are dating or marrying Black women is untenable for the women, the Black family and the Black community.
