I think for many it is the best of few options. Of course some would rather go without whatever than engage in prostitution. Some see prostitution as a viable option for making a decent living.

Here in the US we see women work their way through college as prostitutes - the Heidi Fleiss-type escort comes to mind - or some choose to strip/exotic dance because they can earn a lot of $$ in very few hours and still do school or save to start a business or whatever.

Depends on the person but I still say very, very few people with money decide on it.

Was she a prostitute herself or a madam? Was she wealthy before she was a madam?

The Mayflower Madam comes to mind as someone who had money and chose that business comes to mind but I am quite sure she never did it herself but was strictly a pimp.

how do u unwittingly get caught up...given the dynamics....i know sex is not as big a deal as in times past, but i have to ask...given the age group of the people depicted on the pawt of the visitors, wat do u think is their orientation to sexual attitudes....did they grow up believing that a 3day to 3 week (and i stretch here as the average visitor doesn't go to the unknown for that stretch of time) is time enough to get 'caught up'

How the heck DOES that happen??? My comment was SPECIFIC to Tropi's comments in the "feedback" forum...which was a discussion about why this thred HERE had been moved out of "Jaholics". Discussion in the "feedback" thread was obviously getting redundant and going nowhere. There was never going to be any agreement on where this thing should belong. ...SO WHY EVEN EXPLORE FURTHER??? well u done know seh young people seem to think that they r defined by their orifices...an dat is another discussion...wat have we taught our young people wen ,even in the face of health issues, they continue to take chances...

is not a matter of being prudish etc...is a matter of choices an we know , having lived, especially in this age, that the easy way is seemingly the preferred way, even if it encompasses every connotation of the word 'easy'...and not necessarily in juss sexual connotation eida
