It is them I was wondering when they would be held uo and possibly killed. some peoplehav eto live unde worse conditions. some hav eto go to Afghanistan and Iraq and be shot at and boioby trapped. They don't run.
He is young he should realize that ther is a lot of oters that sacrifice so that he cpuld get the measly support the government gave him.
He owes it to them to stay and fight his little battles.

I see your point but at the end of the day all he is probably concerned about is his safety and that of his family members. What he may or may not owe to anyone else is a didtant second n importance.

Not saying that life will be better for him elsewhere but sometimes when someone violates you and your home it really messes you up and getting the hell out of Dodge can not be discounted as a sound rational response.

I think he will feel that way. and he should go away for a time if it makes him feel better, but he should use it as a source of strength.
It is not age that matures a person but it is more about the trials of life. this is a part of his trials. Of which we can never avoid them irrespective if how we run.

Some folks spent years denying these events and harassing the few folks who would recount them.
I find is hilarious that one fool was trying to blame the robbing of <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">icons</span> on folks like myself, when we spent years highlighting these things, the same fools would claim it was because we hated blacks, hated Jamaica and/or hated the PNP...well, as you said <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">the chickens are coming home to roost</span>.

Even though it might yet prove to be an inside job, it is still proof positive that crime on the Rock is a serious problem that needs to be addressed with some alacrity.

</div></div>I did more than my share while living in jamaica with the number if small businesses I financed interst free,with my own money.
Not ot mention that the many never repaid the loans.
It is one thing though, every single one of them evemn those who never repaid , always remind me of it. They still treat it as a gift.
And yes I fought my battles for a while. I fought with every organization. from insurers, to government, to banks, to tennents, workers,to relatives. I sure did and havethe scars to show too.
It made me stronger though. It certainly made me understand what it mean to be a man in Jamaica.

Getting your house broken into is a petty crime which happens world wide. There have been a whole lot of black athlete in the USA that have been robbed .Even a football player was killed in his house in Florida .Yet people try to make it a pnp and jlp thing ,while ignoring the root cause, which is poverty.This poverty is a direct result of<span style="font-weight: bold"> slavery</span> , <span style="font-weight: bold">colonialism</span> and <span style="font-weight: bold">racism</span>. I think all of us agree that poverty and its roots is a major problem, the thing that is upsetting is that Mr. Bolt was chosen as the victim. This man, who brought all Jamaicans a real sense of pride and once again put Jamaica on the map on the world stage and he is shown no respect by those who committed the deed. If Jesus himself returned to earth and stepped foot in Jamaica, He had better watch that he doesn't have his sandals stolen because nothing is off limits down deh.

Jamaica cannot afford topay the number of policeofficers thatwould be requyired to even dent the crime stats. No country can afford to,unless ther are deterrents. These is no deterrent at he moment,and the only effective deterrent is appropriatelt prepared citizenry. The police can't be everywhere. And eve if the police is present,they still can't sact until law is broken..

back in the 1920's garvey warned that jamaica was headed for a society like this if the leaders continued to mis-lead the masses;
there is no excuse why NO LEADER up to now to have heeded the words of garvey in relation to jamaican nationalism...
