i have been on line a long time visiting a lot of sites with ppl from ALL backgrounds, cultures, peoples.. this one happens to be very negative in respect to african americans that i have ever noticed!

im responding as im finding this forum..maybe you guys need someone from the outside to show you how negative and demeaning you guys comments are in respect to Ameicans( particularly Black Americans)

i said the America's....meaning some ppl believe that America owns or claims the carribean sea as its property..but i belive all belongs to God!.

We all seem to want to embrace statements as blanket when it suits us. I have enough sense to know that is not what she meant. The majority did/does fight against anything tainted African in their eyes. The revulsion against it was systemic in JA for the longest while, so to get up in arms about what she said is a bit much.

Well to be honest I have to say I am more open toward people of caribbean descent because we have cultural things we do and while I am open to positive americans as well, I do find it takes me a little longer to develop friendships because we have a cultural barrier to cross.

can you point out a blanket statement i made denigrating a nationality due to some <span style="font-weight: bold">inherent</span> trait?
