Be aware that given German history of treatment of Homosexuals during the nazi era that their stance is not surprising...There are laws in Germany that prevent the prasing of Nazism.. So cutting down people advocate a nazi policy is not surprisng..

<span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">Kinky</span> did not mean sex and certainly not homosexual liaisons then just as gay did not mean [censored] in the 60s. Kinky was jst a word to discribe there strangeness to a Jamaican.
His association with the Punk Scene is well documented.....basically he accepted whomever accepted his music all the time in his own words trying to reach the Black American audience.

Bob was a public figure and if he had sampled [censored] or Heroin at one tine it would not have showed up in one song or mentioned in one event in his short life and his itinual presence in death.

In the light of Germany's ban on so many of our artistes and their music, resulting in your strong defence of what you consider &quot;harmless and OK&quot; Jamaican music, I have to say that you are misguided... It is not going to help. Most who claim Dance Hall or Reggae or whatever is dead is not going to pay attention to it.
I spend night upon trading and downloading riddims and foundation Sound Systems tapes from unseen folks in many countries 99% of them non-Jamaicans.

The many Jamaicans who get hot and bothered when a few clowns make the news for advertising the [censored], don't actually listen to the music the play their well-worn Aretha Franklin Tapes and mix it with a few Rhianna and then come pon the Bulltin Board and taak nonsense bout free JuJu or stop pressure Capelton.

B/giant, Thanks for including those three icons shown in bold. It would appear that you're are accepting of those three as the standard bearers for Jamaican Reggae... I am sorry to displease you, but I do not accept much of the current &quot;music&quot; being peddled as Reggae... I see it as a reflection of the &quot;coarsening and degrading of the Jamaican society...

As an individual, I can only speak for myself and hope that I'm not alone in my views... Most German Dancehall Tapes is very Homophobic and that is the problem with the Capeltons and the JuJu of this world if they had kept their lyrical badmouthing in the Dancehall ...then fine, but living it, wearing on their sleeves then try to push to GP on records and all-comers concerts.....they deserve all the blowforward that dem getting...ban dem baxside...not really but I support the German State right to determine who goes!.
